Starr Meade grew up in the desert of Arizona and currently lives in Mesa, happily married to Paul, the love of her life. She has three grown children and six delightful grandchildren. She enjoys children and teens, traveling, sightseeing, reading, and writing. Paul and Starr lived in France for three years with their two daughters while they served with an overseas mission; their son was born in France.
Back in the states, Starr served for ten years as the Director of Children’s Ministries in a local church, overseeing ministry to children from infancy through the sixth grade. She wrote curriculum and family devotional materials while there. Next, Starr worked for eight years as a Christian school teacher, teaching Bible and beginning Latin classes.
Starr then spent twelve years teaching high school classes for home school students in her home. She has retired from teaching and currently does proofreading and copy editing work for Christian publishers. Starr has a B.A. in Bible with an emphasis on Christian Education from Arizona College of the Bible. She and her husband, Paul, teach a children’s Sunday school class at Grace Covenant Church (Reformed Baptist) in Gilbert, Arizona.
